  • PLACES TO VISIT - Pembrokeshire is brimming with places to visit; from beaches, gardens, historical sites and museums to theme parks, water park and a chocolate factory.

  • WALKING - There are a range of interesting walks of varying distances and difficulties in the immediate area of Soar Hill.  The most famous is the 186 mile Pembrokeshire Coastal Path which passes through the local coastal town of Newport.  Part of the path can be walked with ease in a day.

  • HORSE RIDING - There are several local pony trekking centres which do full/half day or hourly trips for beginners through to experienced riders.

  • CYCLING - Bike hire available locally, Newport is the cycling centre in North Pembrokeshire, with recognised routes available.

  • GOLF - In Newport there is a 18 hole seaside course behind the dunes with easy walking and good views.  At Cardigan an 18 hole links course overlooks the sea above the cliffs of Cardigan Bay.  Both are normally dry through the winter and non-members are welcome.
