Soar Hill Environment Policy

Soar Hill is a renovated former small holding, run throughout the year as a Bed and Breakfast by Jean Dunham.  The main house is about 160 years old and built from Preseli bluestone, the old cowshed and barn are now a lounge and en-suite bedroom.  There are two small paddocks and a landscaped garden.

As a Bed and Breakfast I have minimal impact on the environment however I’m keen to reduce this impact through a commitment to the environment demonstrated by a continual improvement.  I plan to do this by:

  • Complying with all relevant legislation.

  • Control and prevention of pollution.

  • Energy saving practices.

  • Conservation of water.

  • Management of waste.
